Stan Navratil
Over the course of his lifetime association with forests, Stan Navratil’s photography produced a unique collection of 15,000 images. With his passion for art photography and his scientific background, he has captured both fine art imagery and documentary details. Stan has been photographing for over 50 years. "At the age of twelve I borrowed a camera with 6x9 cm glass plates and double extension so I could photograph the details of flowers. I still own the original camera. Thus started my lifelong journey."
Books
Stan has published two books: Williams Lake Gateway to the Cariboo Chilcotin and Cariboo Chilcotin Williams Lake; and a booklet, Magic in the Forests.
